the Paris Municipal PoliceThis year, the Scottish Government allocated a record £1.55 billion to the Scottish Police. E-Song Digital Limited's partner client, with the help of ESONG's ODM solution, secured the first batch contract worth £13.3 million (approximately $16 million), providing a total of 10,500 body cameras.
The body camera can reliably capture high-quality video and audio, providing an objective record of events to assist frontline officers in documenting incidents and increasing the trust of the communities they serve. The footage is automatically uploaded to VideoManager for secure storage, where it can be tracked and audited, protecting the chain of custody so that the police, the public, and the judicial system can ensure the integrity of the video evidence.

This initiative can also help ease tensions, 'For the police officer, it can also encourage a more composed attitude, requiring them to exercise self-restraint.' In short, it is a tool for civility on both sides.

Upon returning to the police station, if any footage was recorded, the images will be downloaded 'automatically.' These recordings will be kept for a month and can be 'used for legal proceedings, such as contempt, insults, or rebellion.'
